Isolation from friends, monitoring communication, or threats of exposure are red flags.
Using alcohol or drugs to reduce resistance or memory means consent is absent.
Chemsex involves using substances to enhance or facilitate sexual activity. While it can be a choice, it is often used as a tool for exploitation.
Trauma is not just a memory; it is a physical and psychological response to overwhelming events. Your body's reaction (freeze, fawn, etc.) was a survival mechanism.
